We are currently seeking a meticulous Quality Control Engineer to join our team and enhance our quality assurance processes, ensuring that every project meets both our standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Summary: The Quality Control Engineer will be instrumental in overseeing the implementation and continual improvement of our quality control systems. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing construction processes and outputs, documenting results, and recommending changes to improve the quality and reliability of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and regulations in construction.
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Perform visual inspections of construction sites and materials to ensure specifications and quality standards are met.
- Document data and findings in reports and logs, and communicate these results to project managers and executive staff.
- Coordinate with construction managers to discuss and resolve quality, production, and efficiency issues.
- Review statistical data from the production processes to identify quality problems.
- Analyze audit outcomes and carry out appropriate corrective procedures.
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment.
- Perform validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality control in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis and data reporting.
- Attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working with multiple teams and reporting to management.
- Certification from a recognized quality organization (e.g., ASQ) is preferred.
