Job Summary: The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality control processes at Bold Target Contracting Company. This position involves the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and systems to ensure that all projects meet both our internal standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that construction projects meet the company’s quality standards as well as legal compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of projects to evaluate the quality of work and adherence to safety regulations and specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to identify and resolve quality issues in the construction process.
- Document inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
- Oversee the quality of all construction materials and components, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Manage the QA databases, tracking all quality assurance metrics and test results.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to mitigate quality issues.
- Train and mentor project teams and staff on quality control standards, best practices, and the use of QA tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and quality standards to continually enhance the quality assurance practices of the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in quality assurance or quality control in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high standards across projects.
- Proficient in MS Office and quality management systems.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and report to management.
- Certification as a Quality Engineer or similar from a recognized industry body is preferred.
