As we expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Job Summary: As an MEP Engineer at Bold Target Contracting Company, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of MEP systems across various construction projects. You will collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure that all installations meet the high standards of functionality, efficiency, and safety that our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing solutions, according to client specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems into overall building designs.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Prepare and review project documentation, such as design drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of MEP works.
- Troubleshoot and solve issues related to MEP systems during and after project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress and adherence to plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing system design and functionality.
- Proficiency in using MEP design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other BIM software.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead a team of technicians and junior engineers.
- Familiarity with local and international MEP standards and building codes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
- PMP certification or any related professional certification is a plus.
