Job Summary: As an HVAC Engineer at Bold Target Contracting Company, you will specialize in the design, analysis, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will play a key role in ensuring all HVAC systems are functional, efficient, and tailored to meet the specifications and sustainability goals of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize HVAC systems for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate HVAC solutions into overall building designs effectively.
- Conduct load and energy calculations to determine the appropriate HVAC system specifications.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet design requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation, including system designs, project progress updates, and maintenance guidelines.
- Manage and execute system tests and inspections to verify and maintain system performance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting solutions during and after project completion.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in HVAC engineering to implement innovative solutions in projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as an HVAC Engineer in the construction or building services industry.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system design and operation.
- Proficiency in using HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar.
- Knowledge of current building codes, standards, and HVAC compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for designing efficient and reliable HVAC systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or HVAC certification (such as ASHRAE) is highly desirable.
