We are currently seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join our team, providing onsite technical support and ensuring the highest standards of construction quality and efficiency.
Job Summary: As a Field Engineer at Bold Target Contracting Company, you will be pivotal in managing daily onsite activities and resolving technical issues in real-time. You will work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and construction crews, playing a key role in the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee all onsite engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineers to ensure proper implementation of designs and adherence to project plans.
- Provide technical support for construction staff, including troubleshooting and problem resolution on site.
- Monitor and report on the progress of construction projects, ensuring timelines and project milestones are met.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure the construction meets all quality and regulatory standards.
- Document onsite activities and maintain records of project data, including compliance reports, inspection notes, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure coordination and project alignment.
- Assist in the implementation of new techniques and technologies to improve construction processes and outputs.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and other construction staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a field engineering role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong technical proficiency in construction methods, processes, and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing conditions onsite.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively coordinating teams and managing relationships with various stakeholders.
- Physical ability to frequently visit and move around construction sites and to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
